We are looking for a dynamic chemical and life science park development leader in Europe to lead our strategic life science and chemical initiatives and be able to acquire new tenants for our sites in Switzerland, the Netherlands and more sites to come.


Business Development Manager for our European Chemical and Life Science Parks (F/M)
Ihre Aufgaben

  • Take charge for the business development of our chemical and Life Science Parks in Muttenz (CH), Stein (CH) and Emmen (NL), especially to search globally for companies out of the pharmaceutical, biotech or chemical sector that are looking for a new production sites in Europe.
  • Development and implementation of a site-specific growth strategy, targeted further development of existing sales structures and establishment of additional sales and service solutions leveraging the USPs of the sites.
  • Acquisition of new customers and direct support for important customers.
  • Active, pragmatic support in customer acquisition, building sustainable customer relationships, systematic & professional CRM follow up and develop with the teams on the sites customer-centric technical and business models for new tenants.
  • Role model and motivator for supporting teams on the sites, leadership with passion, commitment, structure, sustainability and customer orientation.
  • Leverage your deep understanding of the life sciences and chemical sectors to curate infrastructure-as-a-service solutions for our park ecosystems that meet the specific demands of these industries, driving operational excellence and value.
Ihr Profil

  • Extensive experience in Life Science / Chemical parks development, key account management, or a related field, ideally within life sciences and chemical industries.
  • Proven track record of leading and inspiring teams to achieve goals, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to navigate complex challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the life sciences and chemical sectors, with a pulse on industry trends and evolving demands.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Inspire and guide cross-functional teams to collaborate seamlessly, ensuring successful project execution, timely delivery, and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Embed sustainability into every facet of development, ensuring our parks are models of eco-friendliness and energy efficiency.
  • A passion for integrating sustainability practices into development initiatives, aligning with Getec's ethos.
  • Excellent technical understanding and good business management skills.
  • Completed technical/commercial studies or equivalent.
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic action and pragmatic solution orientation.
  • Enjoy active selling, technical consulting and demonstrating our solutions.
  • Business fluent in English, further language skills advantageous.
